2018 年，导演山户结希策划了一个电影项目，也即是将来自多位同龄女性导演的作品集结起来，形成一部以自我意识和性为主题的完整集合。各位导演需要提供一部短片，之后这些短片反映的主题会被集结成一部混搭风格的电影，其主要目的是为了证明 21 世纪的女性是大胆、多元、富有创造力的，而且她们不会刻意回避这一点。制作完成时，《21 世纪女子》由 14 部电影短片和结尾处的一部动画短片组成，这些短片均由 80 后或 90 后年轻女导演创作。这部影片大胆探索了关于人际关系、自我意识、性、爱、欲望等敏感话题，充分表现了幕后创作者们的大胆创新精神。In 2018, director Yoshi Yamaguchi planned a film project, which is to gather the works of several female directors of the same age to form a complete collection with the theme of self-consciousness and sex. Each director needs to provide a short film, and then the themes reflected in these short films will be assembled into a film of mix and match style. The main purpose is to prove that women in the 21st century are bold, diverse and creative, and they will not deliberately avoid this.
